INVITATION – FTL Annual Conference – Tuesday 10 November 2026
Finance & Technology Luxembourg is pleased to invite you to its annual conference which will take place on Tuesday 10 November, at Intesa Sanpaolo Servitia in Luxembourg Cloche d’Or, entitled: “From compliance to collaboration: Building a trusted ICT ecosystem”.
The conference will explore how organisations can move beyond fragmented, repetitive and compliance-driven interactions towards more streamlined, transparent and scalable ways of working together. Discussions will focus on practical approaches to simplifying client-provider relationships, industrialising due diligence and oversight processes, improving information sharing, strengthening risk management and resilience, supporting regulatory compliance and ultimately contributing to a more efficient and trusted financial ecosystem.
The recent work carried out by FTL on ICT due diligence practices provides a practical illustration of this broader ambition. The initiative seeks to promote more proportionate and risk-based approaches, greater reuse of existing evidence, increased transparency and more constructive engagement between stakeholders. More importantly, it demonstrates how industry collaboration can help transform regulatory constraints into opportunities for greater efficiency, stronger partnerships and increased trust across the ecosystem.
As part of this effort, FTL has developed a Due Diligence Charter, a voluntary industry framework designed to streamline ICT due diligence interactions between financial institutions and ICT service providers. Built around principles such as proportionality, transparency, evidence reuse, constructive engagement and continuous improvement, the Charter represents a collective commitment to fostering more efficient, trusted and sustainable business relationships. While rooted in due diligence practices, its underlying objective is broader: helping organisations move from transactional compliance exercises towards a genuine culture of collaboration, trust and shared responsibility.
The Charter will be officially unveiled during the conference, and the first signatories will be welcomed as they join this collective effort to strengthen Luxembourg's financial and technology ecosystem.
